About The Ottawa Spanish Language Meetup Group

The Ottawa Spanish Meetup Group meets twice a month (the first and third Tuesdays) at a Glebe coffee house. The conversations (in Spanish, por supuesto) are informal and unstructured, but always friendly and pleasant. While the goal is not to learn the language through these meetings, there is always an opportunity to learn new words and phrases from other members. A special welcome to native speakers! A 1.00$ per person fee is collected at every meeting to cover the costs of using this website.

Este grupo se encuentra dos veces al mes (los primer y tercer martes) en un cafe del Glebe. Son muy informales y sin estructura las conversaciones, y son siempre agradables. Aunque la idea no es de enseñar la lengua en las reunions, claro que hay oportunidades para aprender nuevas palabras y expresiones. Una bienvenida especial a los hispanohablantes. En cada reunión se recoge un dólar por persona para pagar el uso de este sitio.
