Hola! My name is Helen and I'm new to Meetups, so please bare with me! I'm 2 weeks back from a tour of Copper Canyon, Chi. Mexico, Fabulous trip with my daughters!!! I look forward to practicing my Spanish---MAYBE even learn how to read it! CU soon!

What are your favorite hobbies?

Lapidary (Gem & Minerals), Silversmith (now mostly jewelry work), Knitting and Travel.

Have you travelled to or lived in a Spanish-speaking country? Where?

Yes, I've travelled to Mexico----the Yucatan, Rosarita, Cancun, Copper Canyon, San Carlos, Alamos, Ensenada, San Miguel, and "TJ"!

How do you use your Spanish?

Very little,,,,,,no one to use it with!!! After my recent trip I realized how much I'm losing through the years, so I'm doing something about that.

What is your Spanish ability level?

I am bilingual with language, can get by reading it, and NO clue with writing!
