Viaje a Peru y Machu Pichu

Do you dream of hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu? Live your dream with us as Long Beach Spanish Meetup goes to Peru - the ancient land of the Incas! We are organizing a 15 day/14 night trip starting Friday, June 20 to Friday, July 4, with Explorandes, a Peruvian ecotourism operator specializing in adventure travel since 1975. Highlights of this trip include:

--Lima city, museum and culinary tours
--World famous Inti Raymi Festival of the Sun in Cusco
--Sacred Valley of the Incas
--River rafting on the Urubamba River
--4-day Inca Trail hike to Machu Pichu
--Volunteer project in Cusco

For those who can extend their trip we have an optional 3 day/2 night extension to Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake. There we will explore the lake and its islands by sea kayak and lodge with local families.

The price of this trip is $1,986* which includes lodging, guides, meals outside of cities, ground transportation, air transport in Peru, transfers, and entrance fees. The extension will add $409*. A single supplement of $328 is required for those wishing personal hotel accomodations. We are also working on a packaged airline deal for the international flight from LA to Lima which will run from $800-1600. Travel insurance is not required but is highly recommended.
