Introduction

¡Hola! Soy Alicia de Galicia (a beautiful region in North-West Spain). My husband decided to learn Spanish some time ago and so we thought it would be a great idea for us to join a Spanish Language Meeting Group so he could practise with more people

Have you been to a Spanish Meetup at the Loom Bar or any other London venue before ? What did you like about it and what, if anything would you change ?

We've been to so many Meetups I've lost count, but I guess it's to be expected as I organise the Weekend Meetups. Everytime we go we have a great time as there's always loads of really nice new people. Hope to see you there!

What nationality are you and roughly speaking, how fluent would you say you are in Spanish ... Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced/Native ?

I'm a native Spanish speaker from Galicia, Spain.

What do you hope to get out of attending the London Spanish Meetups ?

It'll be beneficial for Martin, my husband, to talk to people with different Spanish accents. I'd also love to meet other people from Spain & Latin America and last but no least I'd like to help other people to improve their Spanish (I'm a teacher).

It's fantastic to find in London such a great bunch of people willing to spend some time having a drink whilst practising their Spanish and meeting new people. If you've never been to one of the Meetups don't worry, people will welcome you with open arms. I'm sure once you've tried it you'll be back for more.
