Me meti en el grupo para practicar el espanol. Ahora puedo practicar con mi esposo, Miguel, quien es Mexicano. Sigo assistiendo el grupo por la gente. Hay mucha gente, cada quien con una historia differente.

If you are in the process of learning or bettering your Spanish language speaking and listening skills, this gets you out of the classroom and into the real world. We have several native language speakers who can help us to know what words people really use in daily life. Sometimes when we Spanish language learners are struggling for a word, or the proper syntax, our native speakers provide gentle guidance. We have all levels of speakers, from those who are just beginning to learn the language, to Spanish teachers in the public schools. A diverse group of people, all with a common love of the Spanish language, a desire to speak and understand it better and to help the others in the group to do the same. Bienvenidos a todos!

Hello Vicky,
Thank you so much for your prompt replay and accept me as a member in your meet up group. I am still in Spain, I'm coming the 24th of March to Des Moines.
I would like to join in just the following Wednesday
thanks! I look forward to meeting you all... unfortunately i don't have a car so will only be able to go if my friend goes too...
It was taken at Camp Muir partway up Mt. Rainier in Washington : )
I arrive this Saturday. I just plan on staying for the winter. I am living with a friend there. I figured I'd try to have a social outlet and better my espanol. I just came back from Mexico so that gave me a boost! I will be practicing acupuncture in the area and possibly doing some restaurant work.
I speak no spanish currently but am very interested in learning. Should i take classes first before coming to your conversation group?
