About The Worcester Spanish Language Meetup Group

Welcome.

We are group of individuals who enjoy learning, practicing, speaking Spanish and enjoy the company of others who feel the same.

Most of the members are intermediate to fluent. All levels are welcome.

The members who are learning study outside of the group, reading, writing, watching Spanish TV and listening to tapes and Spanish radio broadcasts. Some have tutors. Learning a language as an adult is more than likely a life long goal so we are patient. We are lucky enough to have native speakers join us on a regular basis, they are a real asset explaining the differences in Spanish between different countries, they can also answer nagging questions that books, tapes or other program just don't answer.

Because in reality once a month is not enough time to practice speaking a language, but it's a start, we encourage people to attend most if not all meetings. We all help and learn from each other, so it's important to participate regularly.
