The Seattle Spanish Society Meeting

Our intercambios are casual conversation groups for native English and Spanish speakers to practice their second languages and to meet others who love and respect latino cultures and peoples.

We gringos greatly benefit from and enjoy the company of our Latino friends, so lets remember that many of them come to practice English. It's partly because our group affords this opportunity that we are graced with so many Latino members. So gringos: if you've been speaking Spanish with someone for a while, consider asking if they would like to practice their English too. Thanks!

At 7:30, I often announce the 'half-time shuffle' (if I remember), which is just a chance for people to move around and change seats so they can meet and talk to different people, but you don't have to do it if you don't feel like it.
