- I'd like to join because Spanish was my first language (I am first generation, my mother is from El Salvador and my dad is from Mexico) and I've lost all of it. My parents still speak it to me, but I always reply in English. I can read it, I can writ

Quiero practicar espanol. Mis padres nunca llaman y hablan ingles - solamente espanol. Si pudiera hablarles in espanol - seria sorpresa buena! :) Las reuniones serian oportunidades para aprender mas vocabulario y para ser mas confidente (?) en hablar.

Espanol fue mi primer idioma. Cuando empeze la escuela, lo perdi. Lo estudie en high school y en colegio (fui a Virginia Tech), lo pase, pero no lo practico. Triste :(
