Eric's Invite: Salsa Dancing and Free Lesson at Las Palmas

Like good food, 2-for-1 drinks and good music? Then you'll love our Thursday evenings at Las Palmas Restaurant. Its a hidden gem here in Vegas! Unpolished on the outside, yet bright, warm & Joyous within. We have a crowd of usually between 50-100+ Fun-lovers who join in Joy here on Thursdays. We enjoy a great combination of easy-going socializing & high-energy dancing! The place is huge and the company is wonderful... :-)

We are very fortunate to have the expert teaching services of my friend Louie Navarro who will be giving Salsa lessons at 6:30PM this Thursday evening at Las Palmas. With 35 years of experience he has taught many dance instructors who now teach at various dance studios here in Las Vegas and abroad. And we get him for a whole evening every Thursday!

UPDATE: In their attempt to keep our great venue going ~ management at Las Palmas is asking for patrons to purchase some food and/or two drinks upon attendance of our dance class. This won't change things for the majority of people who've been attending since most of you order the 2 for 1 margaritas and/or a meal. Their food is great and most entrees are $7-$9 plus their guacamole is out this world! So for $5-$10 you get a whole evening of dance lessons, great food, cold drinks and some great times with other fun-loving people! That's less than you'd pay for one lesson at a dance studio and No food or drinks there!

I'll bet you even make some new friends! I want to thank you for your support in keeping our great smoke-free, dance venue alive & thriving. Come on out and have some fun and sexy good times with good people at Las Palmas. We ALWAYS have a BLAST! Join us and be a part of our adventure in Joy!

Salsa lessons start at 6:30PM till 7:30PM, then dancing till 10:30PM. Louie goes over the basics for beginners then he splits things up and teaches a few "partner dancing" tricks to anyone who feels ready to step it up a notch. We'll be introducing a new feature to our evening: some Intermediate dance instruction for those who want to build a repertoire of dance moves! Of course, beginners can go at their own pace as they learn. Fun is our main emphasis... Many people initially come for the socializing & comraderie... :-)

Happy Hour (4:30 - 6:30) at Las Palmas features 2 for one Margaritas! I'll get there about 5:30 and have some dinner and margarita or two before we hit the dance floor. My buddy Jeff (Sparrow) loves the food here. And because it's a restaurant, there's no smoking...a plus in my eyes.

Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant is located at 953 E Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89104, in the Commercial Center on Sahara one light west of Maryland Pkwy, 732-0010. Turn south off of Sahara and then a quick right inside the plaza.
